For enthusiasts of long river trips, it is worth considering a route along the Dnieper River with an exit to Kyiv Sea. After a ride along the wide river, passing beautiful slopes of Kyiv hills, the boat will reach the lock that connects the Dnieper with the Kyiv Reservoir.

The area of Kyiv Sea is 922 km2, and its 70-km dam is the longest artificial dam in the world. The first festively decorated vessels passed through the solemnly opened navigation lock on September 10, 1964.

You have the opportunity to retrace the path of the pioneers and witness the entire process of lockage with your own eyes.

This is an exciting 3.5-hour excursion on the reservoir’s waters that will leave no one indifferent. You will return to the pier filled with positive emotions and new impressions!

The route of the Kyiv Sea trip runs from the River Station along Naberezhno-Khreshchatytska Street, around Rybalsky Island, along Obolon, through the lock to Kyiv Sea, and back to the River Station.

You are expected:

• a trip on a comfortable double-deck motor ship along the Dnieper along Podil, Obolon, Vyshgorod
• gateway crossing to the Kiev Sea and back
• walk along the Kiev reservoir
• there is a bar on the ship, musical accompaniment

• walk every Thursday and Friday
• your own food with drinks is allowed

• personal vehicles can be parked in unsecured places, subject to availability:
